Reborn in the image of an arachnoid deity, Elise lingers along the edges of the Elderwood, enticing to their doom all those foolish enough to believe her a mere folktale.

They came to Nilah in a cacophony of cracking brambles and bone, offering unbridled talents in exchange for her loyalty. She obliged by filling a vessel with the deep crimson that dripped from the thorns. She now carries with her this godly relic along with the knowledge that she is destined for more than this coven can ever give.

They came to Akali encircling from the tree canopy at an impossible speed, their taunts leading her deeper still into the Elderwood until at last she was lost. Then a voice whispered the choice right into her ear: die in these woods alone or emerge in their charge. And so she walked out of the woods… straight into the arms of the Coven.
